i wondered what the hell they did. i saw the info for next wpisode and they said that the fourth member gets voted out. i was like, WTF?

A few first impressions..... Cory is a queen from hell- pink shirt and all. He and Angie (the tattoo chick) were buddies till the tribes merged. It was his turn to pick a female and he overlooked Angie after he said they were gonna be buddies till the end. I don't like his nelly ass and hope he gets booted fast. Angie was the last female picked and is on the other team now.

They all were at one camp initially and then were 2 tribes living in one camp. After this last challenge that was won by Ian's team, his team got to pick to keep the camp they had built or take a map and go to another camp not knowing the conditions of the new camp. They decided to take the new camp. I think that was a big mistake. I believe they get lost on their way to finding it.

Janu can climb a tree like a monkey- she may be a player that can make it pretty far. She was a Miss Nevada-USA back in the mid 90's. Kim was Miss Ohio-USA back in like 2002 or something.

Most of the players have killer bodies this year- obviously going for the ratings. The guy that didn't get picked to be on a team (Jonathan) was FINE! I wish they had at least let him get nekkid first.

Tom is a NYC firefighter and is 41. He seems to have his act together. The black guy- forgot his name is anti-social; speaks very little and rolls his eyes a lot.

Bobby-Jon is a young southern guy who also seems to have his act together. James is a hick from hell. He makes me ashamed to have a southern accent. Caryn is an older woman who seems to be pretty with it.

Any other insight from the first episode?

goodbye ashlee, this tribe is in big trouble imo, no leader, no physical threat, two of them hooking up on the side. look for them to disolve quickly. the gal with all the tattoos is pretty solid as a player though. that is all.

watched first two shows last night. The woman that got sent back on the boat might have been the most annoying person to ever be on the show..and she was only on for half the first show. She would have woke up dead if she had stayed.

 

Speaks volumes though about us as people. The tatoo/pierced girl was GONNA go because of her being different. I would've thought people on Survivor would be more tolerent.

 

I would argue she tries to be counter-culture, she tries to be the outcast. People are going to have a natural reaction to that. And in this game, being different and standing out is not always a good thing. I think the people that draw this sort of attention to themselves should expect a higher level of expectation from those around them. However she proved her value and will probably hang around for awhile because she is a good player and does not seem to be filled with malice. Plus I like her because she served me some mean Hurricanes in New Orleans last year!!!
