Bet it won't be as good as the recent Batman remake...can't wait to see the Joker in round 2.

I'm a little disappointed to see the joker back so soon. There are so many good villains in the series, do we really need two movies with the same villain already? I guess I could say the same for Superman since Lex Luthor is back, but he has been in three of the four previous movies.

Don't sell Bryan Singer short on Superman. The guy has an entertaining style (The Usual Suspects, X-Men I and II, TV's House) that is hard to match.

    :agreed:

According to IMDb, here's the latest:

    Still untitled
    To be released in 2008
Paul Bettany (A Knight's Tale, A Beautiful Mind, The DaVinci Code) to play the Joker

The joker wasn't in the first one...that was the Scarecrow...( unless you're thinking of the older Batman flicks with Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney)...
.....aahhh, the legendary acting prowess of Val Kilmer..:barf2:

Yeah, I was referring to the orginial, not-so-original, Batman movie series (with Jack Nicholson as the joker - who wasn't actually the character who killed Bruce Wayne's parents - a fact they straightened out in the Begins film). I don't count 3 and 4 because they started cramming so many villans (and sidekicks for that matter) into the mix (though 2 did it as well with Penguin and Catwoman), that it got silly.

Had no desire to see this movie until I saw a bald Kevin Spacey in the preview. Now I'll be going.
