    I wonder how many Texas cocks the Big 12 commissioner had to blow to keep the Longhorns and others in. I bet Texas gets more money than the other teams

    I guess all the talk about mega-conferences will di down for awhile now. The Big 12 loses Colorado to the Pac-10 (no real loss there) and Nebraska to the Big 10 (that stung) but they will still go on as the Big 12 aka The Longhorn Conference.

    The Commish basically bought Texas and a couple other schools to keep the Conference together. Renewed the TV contract so now Texas gets like a gazillion dollars each year. I guess that was enough to keep Texas from jumping to the PAC whatever.
