#9 might be a tricky pick for Offensive skill positions, though.

We might wind up picking defense. I'd rather pick the best available athlete than reach. If the talent is that stacked on defense, we oughta be able to trade out of the pick, too.

I just can't think of ANY defensive position we need more than ANY offensive position, except center. We need WR, TE T, G, RB, QB. Maybe OK FB, but wouldn't pick one there anyway.

DE would make me vomit. CB - liveable. Even LB. Liveable. Only if it's the best pick, we can't trade down, and we address offense in FA.

Free Agency. Boy is that gonna make the picture clearer.

Suggs was recruited to Arizona St. as a running back. They moved him to the defensive side of the ball and the rest was history. You dont reckon we might look to move him back to the O? ;)

Suggs here won't happen IMO. He is an unreal pass rusher and will be a terrific NFL player but we just don't have the need at DE and Fox won't have the patience to wait for his #1 to pay dividends. Suggs will need time to learn OLB. That said, he can step in on day 1 as strictly a pass rushing OLB in the 3-4 and dominate. He is naturally more attractive to teams running that defense.

Also, Cincy will move out of #1 pick IMO. My guess is that someone moves up to get QB and it won't cost them a fortune to do it either. The door is open if we like Palmer, Manning or Leftwich enough. Will we grab one of them?

My gut tells me Fox wants a vet QB and with more weapons around him.
