Dj gets it--thanks. I didn't know if the Hornets first ever game was home or away, which would prove your point correct that the airhead on TV spewed the wrong info.

That's all I was sayin. Thanks again.

EDIT--I missed your previous post where you said it was home openers. My bad.

At least they're finally raising the issue of why no one is criticizing the Hornets for going even further in their relocation. Benson obviously wants to move, but at least he hasn't renamed the team or approved the creation of licensed merchandise with a new city's name on it. Moreover, he hasn't outright lied about his intentions the way that Shinn has. But on the downside, I'm pissed that ESPN whined about how cities shouldn't be poaching teams from New Orleans when they poached the Hornets from us.

is that shinn's doing or the NBA's? Seems like the NBA would have the say in that.

    Speaking of the Hornets....

Rick Bonnell takes a cheap shot at the NO/OKC Hornets:

Wow. May be a little harsh after Katrina and if I lived in New Orleans I'd be pissed...but hey, the Hornets should have never left Charlotte to begin with, all due respect to the Katrina victims in NO, but I couldn't help but laugh.
