I have some time to go in the military, but this is one of the few question marks that I'm uncertain about for when I transition. I'm looking at covering myself for about three years as a full-time student (i.e., no income other than savings and financial aid).

Any general advice about the best option for me as far as having health insurance during that time? I'm a noob on this subject, so any help with the vocabulary and basic terminology would be much appreeshed.

When I was at S.Carolina they actually had insurance available to students. It was CHEAP. I think I was on it...can't remember. I was covered under my parent's insurance.

Either USC's was cheaper...or damn close. I'd check with the school...

Same at Clemson. My Mom figured out is was much cheaper to insure me through the school than to keep me on her insurance.
