    What's the difference between that and a roasting pan with a lid and a rack inside used on a stove?

    Yeah I know. But if you get a roasting pan, and put a rack in it, you can put wood chips in there, too. I'm not one for single-task kitchen items. Things need to have more than one purpose if at all possible.
