    don't know how this will effect my weight, but I got hellacious headaches. It's been a week and a half. Damn alcoholism sucks!

    I quit in '94 and I drank EVERY DAY. I dont miss it one bit and I loved it as much as anybody. Just make your mind up that you are done with it and move on. Good for you.

    I find life too be much better when I don't drink. Thank god that rarely happens though.

    It's been 12 days and holding on.......I played golf twice, went to a birthday party at the graduate, went to the panthers/titans game and played POKER without drinking!

    It's not been that hard...UNTIL you have same asswipe holding a beer in your face and say MMMMMMMMM good.

    I have more energy and have dropped 5 lbs.

    Maybe you could avoid putting yourself in some of those tempting situations until later on. It aint worth it. Hang in there dude.

    when someon says that, think of how good you are feeling right now. and that each time you "pass up" the drink, you can feel 10 times better.
