Why were Jimmy Spencer and Kevin Harvick suspended and Tony Stewart not?

To put it in perspective...Tony Stewart was docked as many points for assaulting another driver as Jamie McMurray and Larry Foyt were for having a window and roof respectively that were not up to specs.

i never said i agreed with the ruling, i simply said anytime they take away driver or car owner points, it is NOT weak. not stiff enough, perhaps, but by no means weak.

yeah - Stewart got the same fine ( actually one less race suspsension ) as Dale Jr. for his intentional spin out to get a caution flag.

Very weak - especially considering this is becoming old hat for Stewart and France said he was going to make a major statement with the penalty.

I guess his major statement was that he is scared of Stewart and Home Depot.

And for what it's worth I actually like Stewart as a driver. But he still deserved to sit a race.

Just imagine what Jr. would have to do to get a real penalty.
