    This news does not surprise me. It was only a matter of time. Kordell has been absolutely dreadful. He may start off strong in the first half, but then he completely falls apart after half-time - which is exactly what happened during the AFC Championship game last season against the Pats, a game the Steelers should've won. Stewart makes bad decisions outside the pocket, and he tends to throw a lot of interceptions. He definitely needs more seasoning if he's going to play QB.

    sorry dude, no way Kordell is worth a no.1. The Steelers may want a No.1 but they're not going to get it.

    I caught the very end of a report by one of the ESPN talking heads last night (Clayton maybe?) which mentioned the fact that cutting him could free up some money to sign other people. Or something like that. I'm not really sure 'cause I didn't catch the whole thing. Did anyone else hear it?

    He’s due 6 million next year. They will either sign him to an extension if he’s the guy, or if not, they’ll cut him.
