    ...speaking at a Gamecocks booster dinner at the Catawba Fish Camp. The dude got a standing O before AND after he spoke. He's not a real dynamic speaker, but he at least made some pretty clear points about what needs to happen. I expect all the fans will throw out their 'Cock-a-Doodle-Lou!' shirts and start wearing visors to the games.

    He'd say stuff like, 'You remember that game when Rex Grossman threw for XX touchdowns and we never punted...?' I thought a riot was going to break out.

    no stories of the games where danny wuerffel got pummelled because he didn't line up anyone to help block? no stories of getting laughed out of the nfl?

    dang. i would have given a standing ovation for that.

    rofl..that was USC's first attempt at a "black out" I think. Spurrier rolled those clowns.

    That was exactly it. The funny thing is, he said he hates 'gimmick' games like that. But wasn't he the one that got the LSU game switch to the afternoon or something a couple of years ago?

    didnt he claim it was because of the "hurricanes" in the area?
