It was stupid. And it's a pattern.

    kinda like Moose's drops.

an incompletion isn't loss of down and fifteen yards. Neither is excusable, but drops happen. Leaguewide. I don't see a whole lot of people get kicked in the back for any reason. And no, it doesn't matter what reason. Kris Jenkins got hit in the nuts, on purpose, and all of us can say waht we'd do or wouldn't do, but 15 yards and a propensity to be selfishly destructive is inexcusable, infinitely.

and while I'm at it, I agree with whoever said they'd rather lose because of mistakes instead of intentions. Intentions meaning, for instance, kicking after a play, or poor playcalling.

Has he done something like this on the field before?

Good question. Without researching, I'd have to say yes.

Maybe I just expect it out of him because he's so volatile *immature*.

I think there's been a shoving match or two, but on the field certainly doesn't rival off-field. Maybe on the field there's less opportunity, but there are still some awfully poor decisions. And some interesting celebrations.

what SS did was stupid, he has got to know that he cant get away with stuff like that. i dont care how mad you are and that "heat of the moment" excuse dont fly either. these games are hard enough to win as it is without being stupid.

thanks steve..........you really showed him did'nt you?

I'm more concerned with it now after listening to him on MSP this morning. His general attitude seemed that he doesn't really care if he hurt the team or not.

Yeah, he's not exactly contrite. He said something to the press yesterday to the effects of 'i'm not a coward, and only god is my judge.'

Yeah Steve, God and Marty hurney.
