A few weeks into the season.. no but the chiefs, texans and seahawks have all grabbed one in trades recently. Costly to do but it happens.

Don't make any plans around CMC availability that shit is no longer guaranteed.

Only ones might be for an 0-4 team with a good guy who they won't be able to sign, somewhat like Gilmore.
Maybe we trade them DJax if they are in need.

Mostly however, I wanted to save the cap for the offseason. But, we have plenty of money I guess, but a lot of our own guys to sign. Plus, we are only on the hook for 5 million for Gilmore

Evidently, we have like 40 million in dead cap coming off the books at years end

Cam Robinson. Have no idea how good he is

I read we have/had like 25 million in available cap now. That's what helped us get him. Other cb needy teams had much less

Yes, but we have about 40 million in dead cap this season, so that will be open from what I read during the offseason

Depending on who needs to get paid next year (DJ, Darnold?) It's intriguing to see where that new money goes.

Seems I read somewhere a few years ago the average running back career was 3 years.

The average nfl career is about there too. Likely due to the free agency system if you don't do well enough to get an rfa tender or picked up by another team there's a fresh crop of developmental guys to chase down kicks.

Cbssports.com all but said the trade was as much to Carolina to keep him from joining the Buccaneers.
