    The owner called Ellis "our core, franchise player," and agreed that Curry has not played to the standards of last season.
    "Does that mean that Curry would be traded, or more likely to be traded than Ellis? Not necessarily," Lacob said. "It really depends. "... This is all dependent on what you're going to get in return."
    But the difference from just last summer is unmistakable: Curry used to be beyond trade talk, even for Lacob, and he's not now.

    Now THERE is a local guy worth bringing home.

    edit: Would Jackson and Henderson get it done? I'd do that in a heartbeat. Not sure if Jack ever played with Ellis or not though.

    Curry makes 3 million a year for the next two years. No way they can get equal value for him in a trade unless it is multi-player deal.

    I loved him at Davidson and think he'll do well in the league, but he can't play defense. He'd hurt us more than help us, I think.
