Two days more rest would be nice when your hurting. Not an excuse, just a fact.

Cowher needs to quite worring about the "rest" that the Jets get and start worring about the Waxing the Titans are planning. The Steelers also do not have to fly what 3500 miles or so to play in the black pit that is known as Oakland. No, instead they travel what about 2 or 3 hours to get stomped probably, I doubt the extra day or two would have a big impact. Oh and Bill next year to avoid a quick turnaround all you have to do is win more games than the other AFC teams, then you get a whole extra week to prepare.

Joe Gibbs used to be the MASTER of this situation. Used to just cry, cry, cry all the time about "quick turnarounds" and "unfair scheduling"...

The dude went something like 11-3 (or better) in these types of games during his career with the Skins. So I'll give ol' Bill the benefit of the doubt (I'm sure this is a surprise to many of you. :D ) and chalk it up to "gamesmanship".

An Old Coot is only a Junior member now... does that make an Old Coot a Young Coot... and would a Young Coot be considered a Cooter???
