    Call me an idiot, but we can be part of a BCS Bowl Game. Who else in the ACC can say that??? Besides FSU?


    State wins next week and beats Maryland, we go to the BCS. Can you imagine that LarryD????????????



    If Clemson can beat FSU, State has a chance. Admit it. Admit it now!!!!

    If State beats FSU, and Maryland beats State, Virginia, and whoever else they play, then THEY control their own destiny and could be in a BCS game.

    That's who else can say that.

    FSU was looking ahead to us and then the Gator game. Thats why Clumpson was able to win.

    If we finish second we go to the Gator Bowl again, right?

    :) You beat me to it. The Maryland fans I know at work are overjoyed at what happened this weekend and are huge State fans for now. Of course, I'm not even sure they'll beat UVA on Thursday. But all of the sudden they have hope again. All depends on what State does at FSU.

    Edit: I have a question though. What the hell is the tiebreaker for the ACC? I was kinda wondering if the MD folks were getting too excited too soon. Won't there be a bunch of teams with 2 losses?

    There won't be a bunch of teams. Right now there are 2, Maryland and State. FSU has 1. State beats FSU then there will be 3 with 2 losses. Maryland comes to Carter Finley in Rivers LAST home game. Something has to give there so 1 will lose and go to 3 losses. So the most you could have will be 2 teams with 2 losses. Should be fun.
