This game is total crack. I've clocked well over twenty hours of gameplay and I doubt I'm even a third of the way through the whole game.

Right now my character, Fallon Dex, is a Padawan Jedi. But now he has to infiltrate a Sith academy by enrolling as a student. His relation to the Force has always been teetering in the middle with a slight leaning towards the Dark Side, but he's heading ever deeper into the red. His skin is beginning to pale and his eyes are becoming slightly red.

He already has a red lightsaber, a red short lightsaber, and a red double-blader. He's also styling in some Dark Jedi robes he took off a trio of Dark Jedi who jumped him on Tatooine.

I'm not playing with the predetermined idea of "trying" to play for the Light side or the Dark; I'm just playing along with the story according to how I would really behave in real life. That stuff about it being hard to follow the Light path is true.

Anyone else playing this game? If you ever liked Star Wars at all, you should be!

I read where this is one kick ass game. Do you know when it will be available for computers? I don't play many games but this one sounds promising. I like the idea of being able to decide if you want to be a good guy or bad guy. Do you get create your own look?

Yep. The game doesn't bother putting you in the shoes of a pre-created character; you get to make your own. You choose between being a Soldier (tough with low skills), Scout (balanced), or Scoundrel (less hit points, high skill points), and you can customize you character by human race and gender.

A PC version is on the way, but I haven't checked for a release date. Whether you wait for PC or get the XBox version, I recommend this game heavily, and I'm really choosy when it comes to RPGs. This one is very well done and the storyline is deep and complex. I already know for a fact I'll be replaying this game several times after I beat it.

    Just to backup ecilam's claims...

Stars: Knights of the Old Republic gets an average rating of around 95% which is just barely behind Halo for the best overall game on the XBOX system.
