I like the Star Wars movies, and I would read the books, but I don't know where to start... where do I start? :)

There isn't really an outline of what would happen in the last three movies.. What ever is in his head he won't let get out.. All of the novels has his permission to be written. He gives the final ok on any book published. I don't think there will be another trilogy. Lucas has said that one triliogy takes 10 years to make.. He doesn't feel like after he is done with these three he will want to make any more. I think he want's to do something with Indiana Jones again. If you are going to start reading some of the Star Wars books I would start with "Shadows of the Empire".. It is set in between Empire and R.O.J. Really a great novel and ties into stuff you already know about.. Then I would pick up the X-wing series.. Wedge kicks ass in those books!! great reading!

The Thrawn Trilogy is immediately after ROJ. Timothy Zahn is the writer.

I would start with "Shadows of the Empire"....takes place between Empire Strikes Back, and ROJ.....Then the Thrawn Trilogy starts after that.

If you really want to go back, and start from the beginging...I'd start with the Jedi Aprentance Series...which takes place almost 10 years before Ep I TPM. Tells the story of young Obewon, and Qui-Gon Gin. Smaller books, but good reading!

Finished last night. Very good book. Lots of Force theology discussions with Jacen, Vergere, and Luke. I love good debates.

According to what I've read, I don't think the next in the series comes out until Feb. '03. 'Force Heretic: Remnant'

A little Behind with the series. Just go "Traitor" in the mail Monday.. I'm loving it so far.. What the hell is Vergere?? If she is really in tune with the force and works for the YV.... then why do they seem so ignorant about the force and it's powers??? Is Vergere from this universe?? Who's side is she on?? She is a very intersting being..

You will find out a lot of that in 'Traitor'. Patience, young Jedi.
