got it for my birthday. it was a lot better than i thought it would be, but then it fell COMPLETELY flat (not enough variation).

i was pleased to see that the computer plays the rest of the guys fighting. so it's still a major battle whether it's two humans or 25. haven't gone online with it (not a big anonymous network gamer). might be fun on the PC for a lan party.

i like the idea of trading it in for halo 2. halo has had a major revival. i still play it co-op on legendary. maybe if we finish it, i'll shelve it for good... nah...

I actually bought the PC version on the theory that the graphics would be better (fuzzy and haphazard) and support for more players online (I think its 2x as many) would make it more fun.

It plays like what it is - a half assed BFV clone with a cool theme that gets old in about 5 minutes. If you wanna get really picky about it, having nearly every weapon (except the craptastic missile launcher) firing lasers is boring. The game play is way too repetitive. I was looking for an improvement of BFV and got a pale imitation.

Think Im gonna sell it along with Doom 3 & motocross dork death match aka Halo.

I shoulda bought Call of Duty & its new expansion. I've heard good things...

I have the PS2 version, but I imagine it's about the same. Playing against the computer its usually about 150 rebels vs 150 troopers. When you play online, is it just 12 vs 12, or do they have the AI players at the same time?

when you play split screen, it's the same massive battle with AIs. i would imagine the game is designed to have robots playing and humans taking up as many slots as are available.
