Would probably be okay as a 34 edge guy, but his height alone won't limit him from playing DE. Granted, you would like everyone to be 6'5"-ish, but there are some very solid ends listed in the 6'1" - 6'3" range. He probably does need a little more bulk to be a consistant player at that position, but he has the skill to be a decent pass rusher.

McClover is a DE, will remain a DE, and has a chance to be a fine DE. Think Darren Howard.

If is he in fact 6'3", that would make him exactly one inch shorter than Javon Kearse. I think he can manage.

yeah I remember watching Auburn and seeing him and the guy on the other side just terrorize the backfield...it was like a race to see who could get their first. I'm pumped about this guy for some reason.

He looked very small today. Our d-linemen are big, though.

    He looked Morgan sized.

In an attempt to try and balance the scales of hype a little I think initial expectations might be getting out of hand for this guy. Just go watch his highlight clips THEN click on the #1 pick overall highlight clips. Stan is a man but Super Mario is a monster! That extra 4 inches, 40+ lbs, and additional strength makes it apparent who is likely to terrorize as a pro and who is more likely to get shoved onto the PS and get picked up by some 3/4 team looking for a situational edge guy. Who was the last tweener to crack the D-line on a Fox team? I just don't see McClover fitting here . .. unless he bulks up by at least 25 lbs and gets a hell of a lot stronger without losing much quickness or speed. I don't see the Darren Howard comparison Collin . . . I'd love for you to end up being right about "PREDATOR" but he just looks too much like a Raptor who is going to need help in bringing down prey. Fox & Co seem to want T-Rexs on their D-line.)

Worst case scenario I think McClover could stick on STs and be the 4th DE for a few years... the Ras.

Dude, do you realize that McClover weighs 263 pounds? That's a pretty normal weight for a 4-3 RDE in this league, and he'd arguably need to lose weight to be considered as a 3-4 OLB. Moreover, it would be helpful if you realized that Rucker came into the league weighing around 255.
