If he can rush the passer, consistently, he'll stick, and play. I do think our DL is good, but we don't get a consistent pass rush from any of them. Sometimes those little speed guys can be the biggeest terrors.

If he can consistently rush the passer against slow OTs, he'll stick and be active when we play a team with one of those.

    I bet.

That may not be as far fetched as it sounds.

Any chance that McClover is a SLB prospect next year. Does he have the speed, instincts? I understand that it would probably be pretty drastic this year, but is there a future for him at LB?

despite being the resident "strongside linebacker conspiracy theory analyst", yes, it really is far fetched.

    I don't know, man. 6'2" is awfully short for a 4-3 DE, isn't it?

McClover will be a special teamer, at least initially. Kemp rarely saw time on the defense, and Wallace is typically the fill-in for either side.

Thanks. Just wondering because I had seen him mentioned in some draft magazines that he potentially could move to LB, but I guess thats as an OLB in a 3-4.
