    I went.

Ward looked unreal from the Rafters.

Ray Whitney, holy Christ in a railroad car.

I nearly fell down the stairs after Whitney's goal.

Nice series of photos from the News & Observer, including Brind'Amour's goal.

I couldn't believe it. I'll admit that at 3-0 I had written this game off. Unbelievable.

Speaking as a former Goalie...Cam better learn how to control rebounds. awesome freaking game though!

somebody with some marketing savvy and a screen printer should design a camo Canes jersey.

drove me crazy all night. whole team knows it needs to play better. Cam gets a pass cause of those saves. Especially when the freakin ref would lose his whistle on our end of the ice. :banginghe

My untrained eye first thought Brind'Amour took the puck from the goalie. I'd never seen even a highlight of that happening. But then they replayed it and I thought I'd rather be anybody but that goalie.

I've played a lot of basketball and soccer, and a common element between those 2 sports and hockey is that you have to keep up with your man. Brind'Amour couldn't have made the play if he hadn't been there to begin with. That's fantastic effort.
