Jason Stanford makes his second MLB start today in Cleveland vs. the ChiSox at 1 PM. Word has it he got 20 seats today for family, friends, and some old Niners to make his first home start. Keep your fingers crossed, because I want to drive to the Bronx next weekend and watch him lodge it up the Yankee's ass.

Stanford thru 3 innings: 1 hit no runs. Frank Thomas and Alomar are 0-4 off him!! He is winning 2-0. :D

I am following the game live at this MLB link called "gameday". It shows you where each pitch is, really cool.

Follow the game pitch by pitch here. click on gameday for the Indians game.

    Too bad....

he's not starting the second game, it's on the Ticket.

Looks like he's thrown 60 pitches in 4 innings. How many pitches will they let him go???
Does Wedge have quick hook or does he let his guys go late in the game??

    tin,

    he is dealin!!!!!!!

    5 ip and 0 runs........knock on wood.

I would assume he is good for 110 pitches or so. He was a starter in AAA so his arm is conditioned by now. You don't hook a guy throwin a shutout.
    :D :D :D

damn, he just lost the shutout. Frank Thomas scored on a Carlos Lee single.

still, 6 innings and 1 run is great. :D

    Nice work...

    by our guy today.

Looks like the pen took a win from him. There is no reason they won't keep him around after these two starts.

btw, even though Stanford got erased from his win, it made him look great, in the fact that he shut down Thomas, Alomar, Lee and co, and then the bullpen came in and could not get an out. :D It works both ways, last week he came out losing 2-1 and got erased.
