My bad, I was thinking he had a decent season or two in Pittsburgh as a third down back - hmmm

(See I don't mind being corrected)

Ick, puter problems ate my post. Had good thoughts too.

Well, I'll sumarize what I wrote. Cliff notes version. Brown will get his shot, if he can stay healthy, he'll beat Goings. I'd like to see him become a 3rd down back. He's a decent athlete. Glad he's here, as opposed to not drafting a back at all last year.

But I'd like to have seen him do better vs. the big schools like Miami, Pitt, and Virginia Tech his Senior year.

Huntley was more of a change of pace backup than a third down back, in the traditional sense.

He isn't a bad open field guy, he does well for a big guy on sweeps and draws and what not. But for someone who is supposed to be a power guy, he ain't that powerful.

You were correct up until 3rd down. He was a change of pace, but he'd never be considered a true third down anywhere else. Zereoue and Fuamatu-Ma'afala both have better skills with the ball in the air.
