That brings me back to D Brown - I don't think most have him pegged as a feature back, but is it totally unreal to think that he may develop into that? We could already have our guy & I am ok with Huntley as a 3rd down back - I thought many times last year the runs were cut short, he could have had a few 100 yard games IMO.

Anything is possible. Not likely, but possible.

I think a lot of people are pinning their hopes on a couple of no contact camp drills that some fans thought looked strong. Said the same about Huntley as well. When the hitting started, he got hurt.

I'm a show me person. It's possible that small back with little speed has the burst and vision and durability to make it despite his physical shortcomings. It's just not likely.

I know you're not, but that sounds like you're describing Portis.

Portis at least has the speed, and good hands. And I like his darting style. Could be a Dunn or Tiki Barber type.

Still, we are getting deep in the complimentary back category.

No deal. You'd be giving nothing up. You're flaunting something you've never actually shown to have had.

    >>I'm not afraid to take shit, especially when I was just fucking not thinking...

    except for not really.
    Anyway, thanks for the confession.

Why? He's cheap. Let him fight for a roster spot.

Dee could, at some point, bust out as a feature back, and could make the job one or two games. I'm the biggest guy in his corner and I'm not really that certain that he could keep the job for a stretch of games. He's best used in tandem.

He did get hurt, however, when he got undercut going up for a Weinke ball. So I don't know if he could be considered bad for durability.

Huntley's not a 3rd down back. being a third down back suggests that he has good hands and can do something with the ball in the open field.
