Spurrier: Why SEC is better than ACC

I wouldn't be so sure. I don't know the details of every SEC school but I'd guess the education is equivalent at most of the schools in the two leagues. Of course there are those that are better than others. At the top would be Duke and Vanderbilt.

 

You know you're worse when you have to go to academic smack when talking about football.

No one makes the ACC keep such "high standards". And it really isnt much of a difference anyways. (Dwight Jones, Kevin Reddick...just read up about them)

 

that would be kick ass if the pro bowl was based on play and not popularity.

For the most part is based upon play. It's not like the guys who make it suck just becuase you can make an argument that somebody else might be eqaul to them or slightly better in a season.

Favre didn't even play in the ACC or any other major conference, what is the point of mentioning him?

 

That the probowl isnt exactly about getting the best player there. More about popularity.
