Spielburg

 

Damn, that's a tough choice.

Scorsese.

 

spielberg crafts an excellent movie and has and immense ability to do watchable work. Scorsese tries to be relivent and creative to his detriment. Doing shit simply because it's never been done before is the downfall of many artists. Excusing sloppy discipline because the director was trying to make majic happen on the screen is so much bullshit. A good director knows what he's going to get before he starts Alchemy rarely works.

 

Until somebody posts a list of movies to chance my mind...

Scorsese

I like his movies a lot more.

That's the way I read it.

 

Yeah. Although taxi driver and raging bull are great when scorcese don't have people around him who do the little things he ignores like develop a character, He sucks.

 

I beg to differ my man. To me, Scorcese still has balls. It's hard to compare these two, both have made successful and influential films and both have made flops. To me it's really about personal preference. I prefer Martin over Steven.
