    Greg Hardy did a ton of training this offseason, running six miles a day and focusing on agility and strength. Also cut about 15 lbs.

    Hardy got up to 305 playing last year. He's between 275-279 right now. Dropped 10-15 this offseason.

    Hardy said after a few early bumps, Star and KK played like they were the first team today.

    Asked Hardy if he has a more realistic goal than doubling the NFL sack single season sack record: "You have a TV? Watch."

    Gettleman said only expectation he put on Ron Rivera was to win. Said he's given Rivera his full support and the 2 have good relationship.

    Yeah. Shorts nickname is KK. He used to be called little KK as a kid. They added the extra K because he was so big.
