    Good movie. Not your typical Adam Sandler goofball type flick. Will be especially moving if you are a parent. BTW, Paz Vega is hot!

    What a waste of 2 hours and 5 minutes. That and I wasted a blank DVD on it

    I thought it was good as a vehicle to showcase that Adam Sandler can act if he has to, and it was sort of a good story and script, but it left me a little cold and Tea Leoni's character was way too over the top for me. Also, Paz Vega is hot.

    I can agree with this, but Sandlers character was such a wuss

    Guess I can relate a little to the whole spanish/english thing. I liked this one just like I liked "Fools Rush In" with Matthew Perry and Slama Hayak.

    Yeah, I thought is was pretty good, better than most of these types of movies the woman makes me watch.

    I liked fools rush in. Just Tea Leoni's role was soooo obnoxious, and Sandlers role was so whiny

    I agree. Fools Rush In was much better than Spanglish. Sandlers role was a bit whiny but a good departure from what he normally does. I'll be interested in seeing what he does in "The Longest Yard" remake that's coming out.

    We saw this at the theatre and I was VERY disappointed. All the trailers made this appear to be a comedy so when you walk in expecting the typical Adam Sandler movie it was a bit of a shock.

    The ending totally sucked.......I'm sorry but if I spend money I don't want to leave the theatre depressed and/or confused. If I want that I will watch the evening news!
