I really do like the guy. I guess you don't want to see him get a contract renewal huh?

I bet Calvin could've managed this game better than Grady.....hell, for that matter my 8 year old daughter who hates baseball could 've held her own vs. Mr. Little.

In a word? No fucking way I want to see that stupid ************ manage the red sox next year. Which is really sad - cause I was pulling for him. He's out of his league. He's demonstrated it all year. Tonight was just the final insult.

If that was the best you could do, then you are as pathetic at sarcastic insults as Little is at managing.

That was more than "a word" VP. :D

But yeah, I was pulling for him too. I'm afraid that decision to leave Pedro in will cost him his job. They didn't want to discuss his contract until after the season was over.

Well everything has pretty much been said. Pedro did exactly what he needed to do and is expected to do. Went out there and controlled the Yankees (minus Giambi) for 7 innings. I can live with letting Pedro start the 8th to see what he has left but Embree should've been in for Matsui. The bullpen get's it's act together during the postseason and Little just up and forgets about it. He's made shitty decisions all season but none bigger than the one last night.

Can't blame the players, the ALL left it out on the field.

We come full circle. I think the bullpen blew at least 8 leads for Pedro this year, all before the all star break. And like you guys said, Timlin, Arroyo, and Embree have been untouchable since mid-September.
