Awwww, [Beverly Leslie]Why THANK you...[/Beverly Leslie]

Last night I made another pecan pie. This time, I added a tish of Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips to the warm butter mixture before I baked them. Ho-ly COW! I didnt know you could make pecan pies better.

Damn it Sadic, you ran off all of the black people. Now you are going to go and scare off the southerners, except for me.

Let us say I drive to Maine and buy a lobster, put it in an aquarium, then drive back to NC to prepare it. Does it still taste like Maine Lobster?

You haven't lived until you have had the mac & cheese at the K & W Cafeteria.

:77321_bs: They cook it to mush, practically. Golden Corral out on Ramsey St. has the best, other than home cooked, that I've had.
Anybody'd eat that powered shit in a box is not a true Southerner and needs to have their head examined to boot....so there.

    PIMENTO CHEESE...
I love me a good pimento cheese sandwich.
In CA the only pimento cheese I ever saw was Kraft in a jar.
    Southerners make GREAT pimento cheese.

I imagine that's the sentiment of most people who don't venture outside their own backyard.
