    So,the worst you can say is that my rant was correct,but "overboard"? Well, fucking moon.

    Like I said (and Reb expounded on), if you're raving about empty carbs and oily cheddar cheese, your palate needs some edumacating, and it ain't likely to get it in the south.

    no i think that you ignore a large portion of southern food. also you reshape what your geographic definitions of southern are to better fit your arguement.

    also, empty carbs and oily cheese???? what nutritional value does a philly cheese steak have? its made with cheez whiz for god sakes. i love them but its nt exactly elite. and lobster isnt a culinary marvel

    steps to make lobster

    get lobster out of ocean.
    put lobster in pot of hot water.
    boil
    break open shell and eat.

    Charleston is one of the top destinations in the country due in part to the southern cuisine. You art touting "ethnic" cuisine as Yankee food. You are either just trying to instigate or truely don't know what you are talking about. Go eat some scrapple and pork roll.
