    Much of Texas is a combination of Mexican culture and German culture. I guess you could say that the Germans probably came through the South to get there, but we're talking about a time before Southern culture as it exists today was around.

    No, it isn't. It is directly southern. with some northern influence. Which is why TX have culture but are obnoxious. They get the obnoxious part from yankees.

    First of all, what the fuck are you talking about? Germans and Mexicans and others. Secondly, Yankees will act like their place is great and put down others, but Texans actually believe Texas is it's own country.
