Beef BBQ is way better than pork. That's how they do in Texas, where they actually have some decent food and culture. Go to Hickory House on N Tryon and order their beef bbq plate. It's good. Again, pork is what people ate when they didn't have money for beef.

Then why would you cook beef in the same way you cook pork to make it taste better?

Now you're just babbling. You put butter on lobster and you put butter on a baked potato. Does that mean you're trying to make your lobster taste like a baked potato or vice versa? Pork is a cheaper meat than beef, which is why you see it more than beef in the south. They made do with what they had in the South and that's great. They make some decent food, but the pride they take in it considering it's relatively low quality is disproportionate and a product of ignorance of better things.

I think Pork tastes better than Beef. Beef is just better for you.
