I hear ya! There are times I would LOVE to leave my church then God says NOPE! And then I realize...I'm only thinking of what I want. And then sometimes I fall in love with it again. Its a struggle to be in a starter church though.

We had a group of Southern Baptist men's groups come and help us with some construction one Saturday and one of the guys made the remark of it being a missionary church; and at least for my family it was, put us into a whole new world of working inside the church, from intense prayer, fasting, trying to survive on a dang near non-existant budget, baby Christians (many of the members were new believers or back-sliders), being there anytime the door was open, and doing it all within the black/white issue here in the South. Oh the stories I could tell.

Yep, that's where we are at, not too much of the black/white issue though, although we have had some blacks attenting from time to time, but lots of people who would never walk into a "traditional" church. Especially the way they are dressed.

Yeah, understand the dress thing....same could be said for hair (length or colors).....99% of the issues inside the walls of the "traditional" church are of course man made, which explains everything!

Yup...and not to "offend" anyone, those are usually the ones that are more legalistic, less open to outsiders, not led by the spirit, and wont give up a seat or parking space if their life depended on it. Oh yeah, and it's OUR money not God's.

Yeah, but we all have our struggles, I struggle with money issues at church etc. None of us are perfect and people worship in different ways.
