Would anyone else other than me like to see them leave the SEC and join up??? I've wanted this for a while... plus they've gained Nationwide credibility in the last few years... the ACC Board of Governors HAS to have noticed this...Think they would join if given a chance?

i would like to see it happen. i saw them get absolutely waxed by the niners a couple years ago, but they have been improving and i think it could make for some good rivalries. north carolina vs south carolina, clemson vs south carolina. sounds like a plan to me

no, the Big East is all fucked up for taking on too many teams. I wish we would send FSU packing and just be the 8. The only team I would pick up is UNCC.

UNCC will never make it in without football

AHA!!! But seriously, they could get in just basketball, but ACC is skeered of them. Always have been.

I'd love to see UNCC football. Hell they're guaranteed a win right off the bat. Probably 2 as bad as the Heels are playing.

South Carolina used to be in the ACC, but why would they leave the SEC for the ACC? It can't be because they think the ACC a better overall conference.

there would be natural rivalries if we rejoined the acc but it'll never happen. usc is very happy in the sec.

furthermore, i don't think the acc wants south carolina. there were a lot of bridges burned on both sides when we split in the 70's.

the acc does need to expand i believe for the betterment of the league but they should probably look at c-usa and big east teams as possible candidates.

I'll take some of that bet! They'll be lucky to be 1-4 before the Purple People Eaters go nuts in Ficklen Stadium on October 11. 6-6 would be an outstanding season.

    I HIGHLY doubt that...

    State is a contender

FSU is always at the top

Maryland, GT, Virginia and Wake have gotten their acts together.

UNC will be down there with Duke and Clemson.
