South Alabama and football

    I don't know how many of you remember South Alabama when we were in the Sunbelt Conference some years ago, but SA is now starting up football for next year 2009.

    South Alabama has scheduled to play the Tennessee Vols in year 2013.

    My point is I also remember teams like South Florida that Charlotte used to play and they are now constantly in the top 20 every year in football.

    I do know Charlotte "someday" will finally get a team, but I won't hold my breath.

    Oh! I almost forgot....we do have a flag football team.
