As much as I am a huge Soundgarden and Rage fan, I'll take Audioslave. The lyrics and voice of Chris Cornell with the rock/funk sound of Rage is great.

Rage. Soundgarden is one of the powerhouse grunge bands of the 90's, but I don't think Cornell can do it live. Every live show I seen (on tv mind you) he sounded like a wounded duck.

Rage, which I have seen, is as powerful live as on cd. They did need to break up as that whole sound was done. But damn the first cd stays close to my cd changer at all times.
