    And is about to be fined 1 game check (80+k) for leaving without dressing for last game. Why are latin players so proud? Dusty Baker said he needs to get in shaoe and get ready to go next year and Sosa pouts. Both sides really want to be rid of each other. Too bad because if they trade him a 2 year extention gets kicked in for 17 mil per year. Corked Bat Sammy is pissed

    well right now, his salary is higher than his production. It'll take a dumb team to take on his salary. It would have to be a swap of overpriced players to get it done.

    or the Cubs offering to pay some of the salary. Sosa and the Cubs ought to agree to eliminate that clause so they could part ways.

    If I was Chicago, I would take it in a heartbeat. Soriano is a good enough contact hitter that the Cubs could put him up top and drop Corey Patterson down in the lineup.

    Here would be my lineup for the Cubbies...

    Soriano
    Nomar
    Alou
    Aramis Ramirez
    Lee
    Patterson
    Right Fielder (platoon)
    Catcher (whoever catches for the Cubbies)
    Pitcher

    Park would be a 13 million dollar 5th starter. Throwing Soriano in would probably have to happen.

    regarding the cubs/mets talk, i heard somewhere that cliff floyd wants to go the al and dh so i'm not sure how possible that would be.

    Nomar and Soriano? MAybe the worst double play combo ever (assuming Soriano plays 2nd).
