And so have about 6 other QBs in the last 2-3 years... you want to talk about logic... hmmm

I suggest you grow up and learn how to address people. PUNK.

If you read up in this thead or the other - its not my ego thats out of whack...

To call someone fucking stupid because of a few isolated opinions is ignorant and childish. Even if you think I am wrong about anything I post about football, does not constitute calling someone stupid no more than it does me calling you a punk. So to clarify, its your attitude and feedback to people that makes me think you are an immature punk. You could be a good guy once you get away from the key board, I dunno...

    >>or me saying the other side of fucking pluto is full of big tittied women who love sex, and until we land a probe you can't prove me wrong

    You said probe. Heh-heh.

Pretty much describes your logic though, Sandy. First rule of science. Can’t prove something doesn’t exist. So you don’t try.
Instead, you have to prove it does exist. So far, I’m still looking for any evidence that Craig can be successful at the NFL level. I’ve yet to find any. Apparently, neither did Spurrier, Fox, or Seifert and lord knows they’d be more inclined to find it than me.

Guess where at a stalemate... the bio I posted earlier in this thread is enough evidence that he "could" do well, along with my personal observations.

I'm with you though... I'm still looking for any evidence that Craig can not be successful at the NFL level. I've yet to find any. I don't consider the fact that he has not made it "YET" sufficient evidence.

  4. Craig was ranked 3rd in QB rating in NFLE that season. Lawrence Phillips was the league MVP. So, of all the guys not good enough to make it in the NFL, he was among the best...but not even the best. I think you'll have to become a Canadian football fan to follow him, Sandy. Oh, and you might not be a dumbass away from the keyboard.

And you might not be a smartass away from the keyboard. :ass:
Perhaps we should have a glass of whatever that lady in your avatar is pushing.

  6. I am a smartass away from the keyboard. Now that you mention it, don't you owe me a beer?

I don't know, do I - refresh my memory. I know I have made a few wagers involving beers off and on...

    I dunno. Where?

    >>the bio I posted earlier in this thread is enough evidence

Here's a little homework. Try and find a similar bio that says this player sucks. Not a reporter piece, a bio. I doubt you'll find many. Everyone at this level has had some sort of success.

    >>along with my personal observations.

    There you go hallucinating again.

Yes, the forest is very hard to see with those trees in the way.

Maybe if he could just get a chance to start and play during the regular, his arm will get stronger, all those bad reads will go away, he won’t take those sacks, he won’t argue with teammates, in short all those things that he displayed in the pre-season and practices will just go away, if he could only get that chance.

    Right.

So let me get this straight...if you suck as a backup, do poorly in practice, and have a bad attitude when things go wrong, a la 2000, you've earned playing time? Even if you haven't beaten out anyone for the #2 job?
No wonder you've got such a thing about Weinke and Beuerlein. Keepin' the man down. Sheeeit.

Actually, I can say he sucked because of something he did in a regular season game. He had a chance to be the dynamic playmaker you suggest he is, and yet barely threw past the line of scrimmage, after running around just a little too scared and timid. Did he not take off a few times for a total of a few yards?

Nah, nothing about keepin da man down here coming from this side of the keyboard...

I recall a game in which he was was temporarily a RB. Came in and got a 5 yard first down, I think (broke a tackle) - a series or 2 later he does not quit make a first down but his stiff arm on the opposing defender pissed the defender off so much he drew a penalty and we got a first down... Criag did whatever he could to help the team and no I do not support some of his negative remarks he made which should prove my consistency when I said I did not approve of negative remarks made by Walls and Dcoy this past season -

Again, tell me he sucks after you have seen him play an entire regular season game. And that miss your talking about... was that any worse than the 2-4 interceptions Wienke threw on those dreaded plays designed to dump off to a FB in the flat? An average QB would have thrown those balls too high for anyone to catch... and by the way please don't think this is a Wienke bashing deal... I guess some guys are just given more chances to fuck up than others...
