  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Craig's hall of fame performance in NFLE consist of exactly one game? He had a decent year, and one unbelievable game, right? Wasn't even the MVP for the season was he?

he had the best season by a qb that year, and a lot of that was that one ungodly game (600+ yards), but you're right, Laurance Philips was MVP that year.

Just trying to keep my Craig comments to this thread...

Here is his bio for those that did not know or forgot...

COLLEGE/AMATEUR: One of America's most talented college quarterbacks, Craig was a star player for the University of Auburn Tigers where he earned second-team All-SEC honours as a senior behind Colts quarterback Peyton Manning (Uni of Tennessee) ... Craig was a Heisman Trophy contender during the 1997 season, setting Auburn single-season passing record with 3,277 yards while earning distinction as only quarterback in Auburn history to throw for over 3,000 yards ... He completed 216 of 403 attempts (53.6%) with 18 touchdowns and 13 interceptions and had three touchdown passes of more than 70 yards ... Also rushed for 312 yards accounting for 78% of team's offense leading them to nine wins and within one point of the SEC title … As a junior he was Tigers' MVP and started all 12 games at quarterback ... Set an Auburn single-game passing record with 394 yards passing and 445 total yards against Army on 24 of 42 attempts with two touchdowns ... As a sophomore, saw action in all 11 games as a reserve ... As a goal-line quarterback he directed Auburn to 13 touchdowns in 13 goal-line situations .... As a freshman (1994) saw action in seven games as a reserve ... Named as a finalist for 1997 davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award.

PERSONAL : A graduate of Blount High School in Pritchard, Alabama .... Psychology Major .... Led Blount to a 5-A State championship as a senior and sophomore ... Registered 3,567 yards and 33 touchdowns his senior year ... Born Dameyune Vashon Craig in Mobile, Alabama.

It would appear he is no stranger to throwing up big numbers... damn look at that 13-13 goal line stat...

I guess not when you have never started or played an entire game... come on dude, the only argument you have is that he has not earned the right in the eyes of the coaches to start. Its not like a Ryan Leaf situation where he was given multiple chances to start and play entire games... we can look back at Ryans first year and say - yea he sucked. You can't say DC sucked because of anything he did in a regular season game...

i can say he sucked in the preseason games i saw him in. let's see, completion, scramble for 5, pass ffffflllllloooooaaaaatttttt interception. he's obviously not nfl quality. he got cut from the frikkin skins for cryin out loud. it's like saying that so and so - who's not good enough to pitch during the regular season, would have suddenly been bestowed with talent he doesn't have and been able to win a low scoring world series game. or a top 100 player could have won wimbledon - except he wasn't good enough to get in the tournament, so it's impossible to prove me wrong. or me saying the other side of fucking pluto is full of big tittied women who love sex, and until we land a probe you can't prove me wrong. you are fucking stupid - and the bad part of it is your ego is so out of wack - it looks like your choosing stupidity. your logic is bs.
