when chris was leaving i thought she was done for. then, when tony called i knew it was over. she knew on the ride she wasn't coming back.

this would have been a great 3rd or 4th episode this season. now it's the next to last this season and finally we're getting some good stuff going on.

little carmine is fucking hilarious with is bushisms. "stagmire"... classic.

That was a freaking awesome episode. First, I really thought Chris might choke her to death, then I SOOO wanted to believe Adriana was actually just taking off and riving into the sunset. Chris really sold his soul for real in this episode. If he had only seen a nice looking average family getting into a Honda minivan, rather than dirty rednecks in a multicolored hooptie, he might have gone straight. Then, the thing with Tony telling off Johnny Sack was great. He's been such a prick ever since Carmine died, I was waiting for Tony to finally lose it. And just when Tony was hoping for real love, acceptance, and discipline, Carmela boiled their relationship down to a financial contract, and you could see that little smirk on his face that told him he didn't have to feel guilty about anything he ever did to her because she's interested in getting hers as much as he'd been interested in getting his.

Do you really think so? I'm not so sure it would have made a difference.

Realistically, probably not. It was just a good tool to show his fears and attachment to the lifestyle. It was his "crossroads".

Yeah, just like having him shoot up again made a good tool for them not to have to show him totally break down after they killed Adrianna.
