i don't want to see Vito sucking face with the handle bar mustashe johnny cakes dude.

also, I hate AJ. He's a pussy. how could someone like him come from Tony? What a wasted episode.

Did anyone watch the last episode? Some funny moments concerning Tony and his disdain for the French. "The frogs hate us" and "They don't want to work either" along with the the french toast and french fries comments. The part with Carmella in Paris was kinda boring though.

Tonight's Season Finale wasn't that great, but AJ was nailing that pretty little boriqua Blanca pretty hard, wasn't he ? Cmon Carmela, don't be skeered about getting a little color into your family tree :thumbup: !!!!!!!

I guess the final 8 episodes will tie up the lose ends. I was expecting a semi big tease heading into the hiatus. Have the final 8 episodes been shot yet?

 

NOTHING happened. I'm at the point where I want the series to end just so the writers have to commit to something. Even if they leave all the loose ends untied, at least they'd be committing to that. It's been a clever, "leave them wanting more" schtick they've been using since the series started, but that's getting old.

I was really hoping Chris would get killed last night.

 

man I just KNEW somebody in Tony's family was going to get whacked.

Hell I was almost expecting Tony to whack him for fucking the real estate agent and lying about it - then blame it on Phil.

Funny to see Tony all mellow and insightful with Phil then have to face that little prick in the hallway and he's back in business.


I'm with Sadic - I'm ready to see this thing end so at least they can tie up some loose ends.

and why am I thinking that Adrianna really is still alive? That Sil let her go and she had to disappear and never come back. And Carmella is going to hire that private eye and really track her down. Sounds crazy but that could be a helluva twist

that episode just didn't feel right. it was very jumbly -- particularly with the interwoven backstory with chris and julianna. one moment she's sick bed, the next they're getting high in his car. very jarring flow to the story -- like they were suddenly packing in a couple weeks of time into the episode or something.

my wife was pointing out that they normally do holiday episodes around the holidays. i'm wondering if the series was sort of abused by some other forces to stretch it out beyond where it was naturally going and so we end up with this extra 8 episodes and a christmas episode in june.


adriana is dead. the private eye thing is over. it was classic carm at the end there -- she got her house back on track and so she can ignore the world around her. her phone call to the roofer really put that in perspective. she goes thru the cards in her purse and tosses aside the ones she doesn't need anymore and picks the one she wants -- the roofer. she's actually one of the more dispicable characters on the show.


phil's little pit bull is going to cause some trouble. he really wants to go to war. antagonistic little prick. and carmine didn't help much. fucking nitwit. i love him.


phil could possibly die and then his little pal might take over and start a war. phil seems a little too rational to go there, even tho he's upset. he still has respect for the system (not wanting to kill a boss, for instance). tony's gesture at the hospital is probably enough to cool his jets.



next year... wtf is up with that? i'm with sadic. i want this thing to fucking end. it's not like the story is continuing to unfold -- they're just stringing shit along. it's like a band releasing an album's worth of good songs on 4 seperate albums with filler thrown in to stretch it out. i'd rather they just do one album and break up. i get no joy from the sopranos being on if they're just going to poop out crappers every other episode.
