which one should i get? i am thinking ps2 because of the dvd.

  2. It comes down to games, because both the PS2 and X-Box play DVD's (although you have to buy a $30 adapter for the X-Box to play them). But at this point in time (and in the foreseeable future) the PS2 appears to have the best games.

yeah, but halo alone is worth buying the xbox. I'm lucky, i have the ps2 and my roomie/brother has the xbox.

  4. Sorry, but Halo is over hyped SHITE. Its a good FPS for a CONSOLE, but thats it. Tribes 2 on my PC beats the living piss outta Halo.

not much into pc gaming. Halo has yet to get old, and playing online is pretty damn fun too.

  6. I just never got into it, and for the life of me still can't figure out why everyones to hype on the game. Its really nothing special. Its a run of the mill FPS. My opinion (as well as others) is that since the X-Box really doesnt have any other good games, Halo is the only game remotley fun so people latched on to it.

have you played vs mode? I used to love 007 on 64 playing against people. But halo just blows that out of the water.

  8. But the thing is you can only play one level. Thats QUITE boring.

brahma, not sure what you've played. But there are like 8 levels you can play when playing against your friends. One level would suck.

  10. When I was playing my friends Halo we kept playing like the same level (or least it appeared as such). Either way, its still not fun. Not to mention that the buttons on the controler are really akward because they are so close to each other.
