In a move to compete, Sony drops the price of it's Playstation 2 $100.

Just as I have convinced myself to getting the XBox, Sony throws a a twist. And with Fathers Day right around the corner too. Now I'm tempted to wait for XBox to follow suit. Do you think they will?

 

Ok, so maybe this is old news, I've been out of the loop this past week. Here's a story saying Microsoft will cut prices on XBox.cool so I guess I just have to wait a little longer.

 

Well, that was fast. Sony PS2 and XBox are now $199.94. I think I'm going with XBox, it just sucks that to play DVD, it's an extra 30 bucks.

 

wait and see if there's gonna be more price slashing. I had heard this summer was gonna be a blood bath. The theory is the gamecube might not survive it. sony will be fine. Xbox might actually make it as well.

My PS2 died on me last year. I suppose I should get it fixed, but maybe I should just buy a new one! Hmm... extra controller and a new system for $200 instead of fixing the old one for $150.

 

This is the part I want to know. I want to play football in my living room against somebody else in their living room on PS2 or XBox.

 

Who pulled that theory from thier ass? The GC is doing pretty good in the US now that Resident Evil is out. Its also flying off the shevles (the GC that is) in Europe, and its outselling the X-Box in Japan by a HUGE margin. I think the GC will be doing just fine.
