I was cruising by the oldies station on the dial while driving back from visiting my parents and a tune caught my attention.

"Build me up, buttercup" by the Temptations had just started. That song just gets me all happy inside thinking about the old days at Mrytle Beach and summertime in general.

    Three Days - Jane's Addiction.

The dynamics of this song are verging on the miraculous, and it elevates my mood every time I hear it.

By the way, wasn't 'Build Me Up, Buttercup' by the Foundations (as opposed to the Temptations), or was this only in the UK?

Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin is always a grin.
A lot of Diana Krall is nice: Frim Fram Sauce, Hit That Jive Jack.

On The Sunny Side Of The Street is a guaranteed smile.

It's a Great Day to be Alive - Travis Tritt

Doesn't matter how pissed off I am or how shitty I feel, if I hear that song I have to smile.
