If someone is refinancing your home and pulls your credit, all 3 credit bureaus will sell the info IMMEDIATELY to paying companies. They're called trigger leads and cost $5-$10 each. Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian can tell if a mortgage company pulled credit...then they send the name, number, address, mortgage balance, payment and score to purchasing companies.

I've had several people tell me they were bombarded with calls after we started the process. I've stopped entering the phone number into the system until after credit is pulled, but it's still fucked up IMO.

If you, for some ungodly reason, use someone to refi your home besides me , make sure to tell them to NOT enter your phone number until after they've pulled it.

I think it's absolute shit that the credit companies do this. Bastards.

Well, I'm probably going to start getting some calls.
