somebody is mucking up the works

jeff bowden claims that bobby keeps fucking with the gameplans. bobby says it's not chris rix' fault. the receivers are split on it. rix won't comment on it.

i think that it's a combination of a lot of things.

1. bobby is too old -- he's lost his killer instinct. couple that with saturday night's incestuous game and it was gross. tommy wanted to kick daddy's ass, but daddy was too soft. he won't be a hard ass on his offensive coordinator either because it's his son. screw all this family shit and have some pride. if bobby lost, it was good for tommy. screw that.

2. i don't want jeff bowden's lurning curve to be costing fsu national titles. gameplanning is this team's biggest downfal right now. somewhere along the way, they forgot how the fuck to do it -- or, in jeff's case, never knew. look, they know what they have with rix -- an inaccurate quarterback who likes to be athletic and make the big play. call more running plays when you see that he doesn't have it that night. fsu only had 17 carries saturday -- 5 by rix. disgusting.

3. someone just needs to bench greg jones so that the real playmakers can be on the field. why he gets the start is beyond me -- and most tallahasseans. we all see that leon washington is a stud and that lorenzo booker can -- right now -- run circles around jones.

i'm too pissed off at this downward spiral of a program to even talk about it anymore.

like i said TWO FREAKING YEARS AGO -- CLEAN HOUSE AND GET SOME HUNGRY COACHES IN HERE.

i dont know how you feel , since we havent had that problem at NC STATE but its going to be Title game next Saturday now in Tallahessee!

Packmans buddy, Kirkland picked Clemson to win, while he laughed outloud and said Jones, after 8 months since ACL surgery is not fsu answer to their running game.

What is being written in the local fishwrap about FSU Loss, Larry, besides what you mentioned?

All this talk and complainiing from FSU pales in comparision to what will be written next week when Chuck wins his 2nd in a row down in Tally.

An outsider looking in, and not having seen you play that much, I got some questions?

Jones. I thought he was the shizzle. not the same coming back? Sure looked good earlier in the season. What happened?

miami newspaper had an interesting collumn about the canes. Basically said the team lacked speed on O, despite the bad QB play. his case was seeing Payton brought down from behind on the lone big play FSU made.

 

From what I have seen, I'll say yes on both not being as fast as I am used to. In addition to Payton being slower than what I am used to seeing from the Canes, I haven't seen the same separation from their receivers I have gotten used to from previous versions. I can't remember seeing an open Miami WR yesterday either. The whole offense appears to consist of drag patterns.

Keeping on those lines.....
There was a play way back in the MD game that surprised both my friend and I. A MD player managed to catch an FSU WR from behind in the manner that Payton was caught. We thought that was odd since two years ago ALL of the Florida players torched MD something fierce in the Orange Bowl. At the time we just attributed it to FSU being a "little down" and MD getting a "little better". Of course, FSU still thrashed MD so we didn't think THAT much of it at the time.

But maybe you are onto something there. I didn't see hardly any of the FSU/Clemson game though so if you are basing your comments/questions on that game I can't help you.

 

With FSU, its more of a question. The thought crossed my head because of watching Miami, and both teams seem to be focusing troubles on the QBs.

Miami I do think that its more than just Berlin sucking. They got nothing in the running game vs us, and the UT run D has pretty much sucked most of the year, at least vs power teams. We were faster to the hole this game.
