no, the HDD is what the huge expansion bay is for. You hook up a HDD, maxtors seem to work better, to the network adapter and it shoud recognize it right away after you format it with HDLoader. Sony forced it off the market because it took people about 5 minutes to realize what you could do with a 120 gig HDD and a pass to blockbuster.

You can still find them on ebay though. Doesn't require a mod chip at all. Easier to play copied games than xbox actually. you just insert the HDLoader disk in your ps2 whenever you want to play and select a game thats saved on your HDD.

The first Devil May Cry is a keeper that stands the test of time. It also has the Silent Hill series, which I'm heavily biased in favor of. Yes, XBox carries this series as well, but only PS2 is backward compatible with the original Silent Hill for PSOne, which in terms of scares and gameplay holds its own with any from the series.

    Ratchet and Clank

Honestly, there are so many more games on PS2, it just depends on what you like.

Thos pictures are artist renderings ... kinda like the pictures from the new PS3 and XBOX2 shots. It won't be like that.

Um no...those would be screen shots from the game. Artest renderings are when the games not even running yet. GT4 has been running for quite a while.

its probably from the replay part after a race. Those always look better than the actual racing. I'll still check it out, but I doubt in game racing will look like that unless there's like only 4 cars on the track.

I did the same thing. I had a launch ps2 and sold it a long time ago. I'm only getting another one now for shits and giggles.
