    does the chances of East Carolina going to the BIG EAST go up a slight tad (and I mean very, slight tad) ? Wouldn't they need another team to join the league for football to give them 8/9 teams :confused: ? ? ? ECU football is going to be a non factor if its stuck in a watered down CUSA league . . .

    geez sds after saturdays game any talk of ECU being a factor anywhere is to be kind- premature.

    the Big (L)East is now talking to Marshall about joining up. It's a move up for them possibly.

    I don't know why duke and marshall and wake and vandy maybe bucknell and a enough others to make a championship confence don't band together in a students as athelets confrence. Hell the demographics of the alumni base alone would get them healthy bowl bids.

    No really it not about football its about getting alumni in some disgusting town to spend money. Hell Duke or wake would get a bowl berth every year. And with the make up of the current rules there isn't much the heirachy of the NCAA could do about it. I mean geez the Dean Witter / Mango Bowl live from Montego Bay.
